These systems provide a way for affiliate marketers to obtain traffic to the website of their choice.

Members

Generally the name “traffic exchange” means just that, you view other peoples websites in exchange for someone else viewing yours. Usually the people who use these exchanges are members (pro or otherwise) and they already have an affiliate program or business website which they are promoting.

Special offers

These exchanges often offer specials on hits to your website, or extra credits for particular surfing periods. You are also able to advertise your program for a reasonable fee. Your site may be the first one to come up in surfing frames for a set time or it may be featured on the main page.

Other traffic sources

Often you will see other traffic building offers on these sites or you may receive an email if you are a member. There may be a new program just starting off and they may be offering some very good free credit packages.

You have to decide though, how many of these programs you can successfully operate. It’s no use signing on for everything and never going back to do anything about it.

It’s probably better to pick out as many good solid programs as you need and stick to them.

Surfing Exchanges

If you have the time there are many ways to surf. A tabbed browser is one, and you may be able to comfortably surf 6, 9 or more exchanges simultaneously.

You can clock up quite a number of credits on each site in an hour or so.

How to use these credits

As you build up a pile of credits you will have to decide what program/s you are going to use them on.

I have found that with a number of affiliate programs, the credits tend to spread out rather thinly and probably do not always really swamp an affiliate site. That is of course if you are not able to rack up thousands of credits easily.

My program pick

I don’t know about you, but when I found a program which provided huge numbers of downline members at a reasonable cost, a number of little bells started ringing.

Just think, 1000 or 1500 downline members of your own, who forever provide you with ten percent of their surfing credits.

Not only that you can email the whole downline each week forever. No more buying credits or having to spend hours and hours surfing.

Of course you can do a bit of surfing yourself as it is always good to see what is on offer anyhow.
